Blind Hockey Youth Jamboree
We are excited to be hosting the first ever blind youth hockey jamboree.
The event will be taking place on April 11th, 12th and 13th at the Hatfield Ice Arena in Colmar, Pennsylvania.
This event is sponsored by Philadelphia Blind Hockey and made possible by our partners the Atlantic Amateur Hockey Association and the Flyers Cup.
This is the first time we will be having a jamboree just for the youth, the future of Blind Hockey. We are expecting players from across the USA and Canada to participate in this event.
In addition to the Youth Hockey Jamboree, Philadelphia Blind Hockey is thrilled to be hosting a “Phun” Day in Philadelphia to all registered jamboree participants.

TOURNAMENT RESGISTRATION

The tournament registration fee is being covered by Atlantic Amateur Hockey Association (AAHA).
Registration includes:
· Guaranteed 4 ice time slots (1 Friday, 2 on Saturday and 1 on Sunday)

ARRIVAL
Out of town players should plan to arrive on Friday, April 11th. All players are asked to arrive at the rink a minimum of 45 minutes prior to the first session on Friday evening to check in and meet your coaches. Times are provided in the Tentative Schedule of Events below.
RINK INFORMATION
All on-ice events will be taking place at Hatfield Ice Arena. The rink’s address is 350 County Line Road, Colmar, PA 18915.

6:00-6:15 PM Check-in at Hatfield Ice
7:00-8:30 PM First Session (Gray Rink)
Saturday, April 12th
8:00-9:30 AM Second Session (Blue Rink)
10:00 AM Depart rink via bus for some “Phun” in Philadelphia
5:00 PM Buses will return to the rink for Third Session
6:00-7:30 PM Third Session (Blue Rink)
8:00 PM Dinner (Details will follow)
Sunday, April 13th
8:45-9:15 AM Fourth Session (Gray Rink)
GAME FORMAT
Games will be played using buzzer hockey where lines will alternate 3-minute playing times where a substitution will be signaled by the buzzer. Coaches will be on the ice to help the players who might need guidance.
MEALS
Philly Blind Hockey will be providing dinner on Saturday night, and snacks for players including fruits, granola bars, juices and Gatorade will be available in the dressing room hallway throughout the weekend.
There are a wide variety of restaurants surrounding the hotel and arena, and the rink concession stand will be open throughout the weekend.
If your player has a dietary restriction, please note on the registration form (i.e., gluten, nut, dairy, etc.).
