End of the Season
Philadelphia Blind Hockey’s first season came to an end on March 19th. The season ended with the program getting present with a check from the Flyers Cup committee. Both programs have been connected by allowing different high school teams coming out to help assist on the ice. Along with the high school teams, Villanova’s Woment Hockey Team and Drexel University Men’s Hockey came out to a practice as well.
Members of Philly Blind Hockey were then special guests at the championship games of the Flyers Cup Tournament. Before the games, athletes, coaches and board members got to drop a blind hockey puck.
Our athletes had so much fun cheering on the teams and to be apart of the action. We can not thank the Flyers Cup for all the opportunities they have present us this season and are looking forward to the future.
