Thank you to Leveling the Playing Field.

On October 7th, board members of Philly Blind Hockey had the opportunity to get hockey equipment donated through Leveling the Playing Field.

Leveling the Playing Field is a non-profit organization that collects new and gently-used sports and playground equipment from the local youth sports community. Volunteers then sort the donations in their warehouse so that they can distribute the equipment to schools and organizations working to provide an affordable and accessible option to under-resourced youth groups, community programs and schools throughout the local area.

The Philadelphia Flyers and Leveling the Playing Field have partnered up together to be able to grow the game of hockey with having 10 collection bins at local rinks to collect equipment.
